8th Annual AECMN Conference Review

The 8th Annual Conference sponsored by the Durham Public Schools' Hospital School and the Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center.  It was held in Durham/Chapel Hill, North Carolina, November 8-10, 2007.  Eighty seven attendees participated representing 17 states.

The overall focus of this year’s conference was intended to: 

 

· Inform attendees about current research on the effects of cancer treatment on cognition

· Provide attendees with a successful model of homebound delivery

· Initiate the development of Instructional Standards for Hospital School Programs

· Provide increased opportunity for members to spend directed time networking on current issues pertinent to the field
